I’d bet you think ‘How’ is the key to success. Well, I must disagree ’cause without ‘Why’ the alarm clock won’t help you.

People don’t get what they want because they simply want it. Nor they get what they want because they simply need it. To get a prize you, probably need to work (just a little bit 😀 ). You can start your day knowing what to do or you can wake up like Jim Carrey from “Bruce Almighty” movie 😀

ARE YOU WAKING UP THE SAME?

At this very moment, I’m sure, somebody is sitting on the internet and searching for tricks and tips on productivity. I want you so stay with me and to read carefully what I’m going here to tell you.

Once you started to practice it doesn’t mean you will get the results. If you work 8 or 10 hours per day doesn’t mean you will achieve an immense outcome. In the end, the amount of time you spent learning isn’t important but what crucial – is your focus. What important even more – is your habit. The habit of doing the same thing every single day, my friend.

I wake up at 4 a.m. to stay focused on one thing for four hours from Monday till Friday. When time is passed I don’t care what I will do next because I’ve already done the most important thing without any distractions.

Here are my small tips for you once you’ll risk trying your morning abilities (I don’t get up at 5 or 6 because only at 4 I feel as if I got enough sleep 😀 don’t even ask me why – I have no idea, comment me if you have the same issue) :
  1. you must sleep not less than 8 hours
  2. go to the shower at 7 p.m.
  3. fill your bedroom with a fresh air meanwhile
  4. read fiction before sleep
  5. put the alarm clock far from the bed (you will wake up when you will try to turn it off )
  6. don’t go back to bed at 4 a.m. once you get up
  7. first 30 minutes after awakening do everything without haste : prepare breakfast, clean the teeth, drink water with a slice of a lemon
  8. at 4:30 do morning exercises
  9. at 5:00 have your breakfast and head for the goals.

The important thing you need to understand is that at 10 a.m. you will do everything you wanted 😀 So you need a better plan, I mean it. Most of the time if you don’t know what to do after you’ll wake up you will fall asleep again 😀

Let’s pretend you want to start doing morning exercises before work. On Sunday write down a plan(you can use ToDoist):
  • 5:00 – start exercises
  • 6:00 – take a shower
  • 6:30 – have breakfast
  • 7:00 – read news (read a book, listen to the podcasts)
  • 8:00 – leave for work
If you work from home, I’ll share with you my routine :
  • 4:00 – wake up
  • 4:30 – start exercises
  • 5:30 – have breakfast
  • 6:00 – take a shower
  • 6:30 – writing (4 hours without breaks)
  • 10:30 – have a snack (apple usually)
  • 10:45 – marketing/promotion (approx. 1:30 hour)
  • 12:30 – have lunch
  • 13:30 – develop Android app (usually till 17:00)
  • 17:00 – have a tea
  • 17:30 – read non-fiction
  • 19:00 – go to the shower
  • 19:30 – read fiction
  • 20:00 – sleep
  • 04:00 – wake up

Why I wake up at 4 o’clock in the morning? Because I have a dream and I want to make it my reality. Once you’ll find out your true reason you are welcome to create the reality YOU want.
